Every convention has its characters - and we mean that in every sense of the word. The Rogues Gallery is where Rendezvous Comics celebrates the creators, artists, cosplayers, collectors, and fellow fans we meet along the way. From legendary names to rising talent and unforgettable encounters, these are the people who make the comic community more than a hobby. They make it a world worth getting lost in.
Dinner with a legend
Before Rendezvous Comics was born, the philosophy already existed. In San Diego circa 2016, I had the great pleasure to spend the evening with this legend. Stan Lee was inviting, warm and sharp witted just as I always imagined him to be. Conventional wisdom says, "Don't ever meet your heroes". This man proved that heroes exist outside of the pages as well. I will forever remember this as one of my greatest experiences, and it helped me found Rendezvous 10 years later.
