Dinner with a legend
Before Rendezvous Comics was born, the philosophy already existed. In San Diego circa 2016, I had the great pleasure to spend the evening with this legend. Stan Lee was inviting, warm and sharp witted just as I always imagined him to be. Conventional wisdom says, "Don't ever meet your heroes". This man proved that heroes exist outside of the pages as well. I will forever remember this as one of my greatest experiences, and it helped me found Rendezvous 10 years later.
